Purple Blossoms

Here is the wedding cake I did this last weekend.

It is all chocolate cake with buttercream icing and filling and then covered in fondant.

The embossing is royal icing and I made all the flowers out of gumpaste/fondant. I even airbrushed them which was a lot of fun! Thanks to my sis for the airbrush setup! :)

Gold Wedding Cake

This wedding cake I did is red velvet cake with buttercream icing. The flowers are sugar and the ribbon is fondant that I painted gold. I also had to pipe the scroll work before hand, paint it and then put it on. Everything is edible!

Helicopter Cake

This cake was a challenge and I really wish I would have been able to spend some more time on it but thanks to my awesome husband I was able to at least pull this off! :) I do think it looked better in person than this pic tho.....it doesn't show a lot of the detail. It is chocolate cake with some cream cheese filling. The rotor does turn manually too! :)

Sunflowers and Baby Ladybug!

Here is a cake I did for a baby shower! The invitation had a baby dressed up like a ladybug sitting in sunflowers, so this is what I came up with. Strawberry and vanilla cake with cream cheese and strawberry filling! Everything is edible!

Cupcake Blossoms

I had someone ask me to make 100 flower cupcake toppers for a babyshower. So I did 50 smaller flowers and 50 of the bigger.

My goodness! I may just be opening my cake decorating to a whole other realm here...... What can I say?! Yikes! Lol! This cake was requested for a surprise party for, yep you guessed it! some guy name Josh! :) I have already got another request for a similar cake! Hmmm.......

And what do you say when your sweet kids come in and say "Cute cake mom!" like they always do???!

For my grandma's 80th Birthday we wanted a cake, and what better cake for a die hard Jazz fan than a JAZZ cake!! It was a hit!! Happy Birthday Grandma!! :)
